Overview

Set in Nairobi's outskirts, in the suburb of Langata, the Giraffe Centre is just a short drive (depending on traffic) from the city centre. You can then head to the Nairobi Giraffe Centre, where you can interact with the endangered Rothschild giraffe, hand feeding them from a raised viewing deck.

0800: Check out the hotel and transfer to the giraffe centre in Nairobi
0900: Arrive at the Giraffe centre
1100: Depart the Giraffe centre and transfer to Nakuru
1300: Check in at camp/lodge
1330: Lunch is served
1530: Optional half day safari at Lake Nakuru National park
1900: Dinner is served

You will get to experience one of the most spectacular national parks within Kenya’s great rift valley. The surrounding escarpments, picturesque ridges and a beautiful backdrop of the lake with flamingos, creates an amazing set to view the diversity this park has to offer. In order to cover the entire park you will have a full day safari.

Maasai Mara is the place to be! From the magical sunrises & sunsets, to watching animals in their natural habitat and not living out exceptional views, Maasai mara has a lot to offer. Below find some of the highlights that makes it a once in a lifetime experience. The oh so famous wildebeest migration that is considered a wonder of the world, Home to the big five, Lions, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard & Rhino. The Maasai Culture and its beautiful people are quite the experience Extensive home to a vast species of plants and birds. The beauty that is the Mara River and the vast beautiful landscape that is the ecosystem of the Maasai Mara.

0545: Take coffee and leave the camp for a full day Game Drive.

1900: Dinner is served. After dinner there is an optional story telling session at the bonfire with the Maasai warriors

If you were unable to sight the big five yesterday do not fret as here is another day! You will leave the camp at 0545 with picnic breakfast & lunch box for a full day game drive and explore wildlife in its very own habitat. This is your best chance of sighting the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhinoceros). Witness these rare animals go about their daily routine in an environment that is unmatched and unparalleled. At 0700 you will have your sunrise breakfast and 1200 your picnic lunch. You will cover the entire territory and visit the Mara river for hippos and birdwatching. You will leave the park at 1500 to pass by the Maasai village. You will have an amazing chance to interact with the maasai warriors, sing and dance with them, do some beadwork class with the women.
The evening is for you to relax and rejuvenate your senses with bonfire and sundowner. Fresh dinner will be served at 1900 after which you can wind up at an overnight stay at the camp/lodge.
